Bio

About:

Tim is a drummer, bandleader, and Ableton programmer based out of Nashville, TN.  A native to Albany, NY, he grew up in a home with a rich history of music and drumming.  It was at the early age of 4 where Tim started banging on anything and everything he could find.  Tim got his first drum (a set of bongos, of which he still has) at the age of 6, and the rest is history.  Tim took private lessons for over 15 years, studying drum set as well as snare drum, playing at Level 6 NYSSMA tiers.  It did not take Tim long to develop a passion for music as he began playing and band leading in local bands and worship teams throughout high school.

In college, Tim studied and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  While in college, Tim joined an African Hand Drum Ensemble, Afro-Cuban Jazz Band, and stared his own CCM band, One Voice Anthem.  After graduating college in 2014, Tim continued to play drums with his band, jazz band, and various church bands.

In 2016, Tim voyaged from NY to TN to further his professional music career.  Tim has a great ear and will play what fits and feels right for each situation.  He lives in the pocket, locking into a groove and playing with dynamics.  Tim puts an heavy emphasis on preparedness and excellence.  If you’d like to know more or reach out to Tim, please visit the Contact page.
